The hotel is located in a brilliant spot, very close to the main tourist area yet also within reach of authentic Italian restaurants. The rooms are spacious, clean, and look even better than the pictures. However, some service issues slightly overshadow the positive experience.
The hotel offers a mix of charm and convenience. The rooms are clean and shabby chic but a bit small, and the shared bathroom may not suit everyone. The service is characterized by both helpfulness and unexpected demands for additional payment. The location is close to major attractions but lacks a welcoming vibe. The dining experience is pleasant with good food offering for vegetarian guests.
My stay at the hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The rooms had a dark and dingy Venetian decoration, some located on a single floor while others on a substandard apartment 2 blocks away. The service was accommodating but slightly marred by initial disappointment due to our delayed arrival. The location was excellent, close to San Marco square, but the difficulty in finding it and the lack of an elevator were drawbacks. The dining experience offered a good variety, but having breakfast in the room might not suit everyone.
